White Water Rafting
White Water rafting is an adrenaline filled, three seeking sport that almost anybody can take part in. Imagine hurdling down a rocky river with adrenaline pumping through your veins as you experience all of the thrills of the most exciting roller coaster ride that you have ever gone through. Does this sound scary to you? If it does, don’t worry because it doesn’t need to be!
Booking a rafting day with professional and experienced White Water Rafting companies guarantees a high standard of equipment and your safety, in addition to trustworthy, secure rafts and helmets as well as that all important expert training and demonstrations! You can also be safe in the knowledge that an expert instructor will also stay in the raft with you all the way down to ensure that everything goes as well as possible for you!
White water rafting is a fantastic group activity, which is often the chosen days activity for a group of friends, or work colleagues. It is also gaining popularity in the hen and stag party market as it is a great way of groups to communicate and bond – especially if there are a few quieter members of the group, or some that have only just met!
The level of difficulty of your white water rafting experience changes according to the river. There is a grading system in place, from Grade 1 (easy) to Grade 5 (extremely difficulty). There is also a Grade 6 and above, which essentially means the water is deemed unrunnable!
The level of water also plays a part, for example if the water levels are low, the river will run faster, with more boulders being exposed. When the water levels are higher, it tends to be a slower experience with fewer obstacles. Ultimately the aim of the event though is for you to enjoy yourselves, yet still be challenged, so its important to seriously consider what level you choose.
